    The Center for Anacostia Studies was the predecessor of the Anacostia Neighborhood Museum research department.
    Scope and Content: 
    Williams discusses his life in Anacostia as a guard for various governmental agencies during the 1940s and 50s.
    Provenance: 
    Conducted as part of the Anacostia Oral History Project, which includes approximately 50 interviews of long-time residents of the Anacostia area of Washington, DC. All interviews were originally recorded on audio cassette and subsequently transferred to CD and DVD in 2007.
